Risk Assessment is a Skill That Requires Time to Learn!

A great article about getting your children outside in all types of natural environments! Let them explore! Let them climb!  Let them touch! Let them walk on different types of surfaces and elevations.  Give your children this experience and age appropriate levels. Remember, falling, tripping, stumbling are great learning experiences!

August Fun So Far!

Since I've been slacking in the blog, I'm just going to post some The Duck Pond's favorite moments so far! We have had a great August!  The Ducks love rocks of all kinds shapes and sizes! River rocks are their favorites!  The Ducks do more art & crafts outside! They really enjoyed making, playing, and throwing Moon Sand or painting on the easel!  If the Ducks are stuck inside, Ms. Ann & Ms. Ampy get out the soft climber. It's a good chance for these waddling Ducks work on their balancing skills!  Don't forget--Bubble Time in the outdoor play area is a blast!

Sorry! I took a break longer than I thought!

So...I went on vacation back at the end of July. I'm not sure if I ever came back from Emerald Isle, NC!  I've totally been slacking on this blog! I'm so sorry! On this teacher's workday, I'm going to catch this blog up to our currently week!!!!!
